Blake is one of the founding members of the National LGBTQ+ Society. Blake currently lives in Minnesota, but was born and raised in New Jersey! Blake currently works Full Time, and spends his free time as a volunteer and the President, and Executive Director for the organization. Professionally, Blake works as an educator for a local school district in the United States. Blake is also a former First Responder, and has served his community as an Emergency Medical Technician. Blake is still no longer an Emergency First Responder. Blake is an openly gay guy who wanted to serve his community in other ways, Blake thought of the Idea of The National LGBTQ+ Society while he was in high school, he saw or heard stories of people in his community being bullied and he wanted to create a safe atmosphere and safe environment for members of the LGBTQ+ Community and its allies, thus The National LGBTQ+ Society was born! For many years we were nothing more then just a social group on Facebook and Reddit, however Blake knew he wanted to do more, so he and the Executive Board of the organization decided that it was time to file as a Non-Profit Organization in the State of Minnesota. After the Society became officially as a Non Profit Organization, Blake wanted the society to become a charitable organization, thus filing for Tax Exempt Status through the IRS, and thus the Society was approved as a Charitable Organization as a 501c(3) tax exempt organization. Blake had a vision for our organization, his vision is to create an safe environment for members of the LGBTQ+ Community could go to, to feel safe, and to get support, or resources. Blake feels that this organization can grow so much and that we can provide support and many resources to members of the community.
